A post about Bailey!

See this pretty little girl? That's Bay with her new dolly. She got this dolly for Christmas, from her Skippy and Pops. I picked it out for her-it came from the American Girl doll company, I love the fact that you can send it back to have it repaired, cleaned, and fixed up. I also like the fact that if something ever happens to the current one, that we can get it replaced. I didn't know how well Bay would like a doll, but Skippy and Pops also got her a doll stroller as well-and we got her the doll carrier (just like mine), and you can see how much this girl loves her doll. That Bailey is a sweet little girl, she has a strong personality and knows what she wants. Chad and I shake our head a lot when she throws a tantrum or doesn't get her way, but we both know she is going to be a very strong woman when she grows up. I feel a little sorry for Benjamin, as Bailey is going to be the bruiser of the family. She is very loving as well, she likes to sit in your lap, read books, and give hugs.

Here is Bailey on Christmas Eve, she didn't want to sit down to take a stupid picture-so this is the pose we got instead. She is such a wild card.
With Daddy on Christmas Eve----> She is such a Daddy's Girl. She loves him the most (so she says), and she really loves for her Daddy to scare her, while sneaking around the corner. The picture shows the daily interaction of the two. I believe Chad is probably telling Bay to stop pouting. And yes, she is wearing a green diaper-for Christmas. :)

Christmas morning! Bailey didn't participate much in the opening of gifts. She is watching Daddy put her stroller together-Benjamin helped open most of her gifts. Bailey looked precious in her night gown.

Below are some pictures of Bailey playing with her new doll house that Santa got her-she loves, loves, loves it.
Instead of opening gifts-she was digging into my candy. Looks like she was shocked that she was caught!

Below are some of my favorite pictures of my baby girl. She has such an awesome smile. She is a really happy child, at 18 months old she can:
  • Shake her head "no" when requested to do something
  • Throw herself on the floor and give a nice tantrum
  • Sleep in a big girl twin bed
  • Put clothing in the hamper
  • Put diapers in pail
  • Get diapers out and pajamas out
  • Climb on to the couches/ottoman
  • Say Dada, Mama, Bubba (which we don't let her call Benjamin), help, this, nana, Pops, PawPaw, please, and cheese.
  • She tries to sing the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"
  • Help pack orders-she takes the packages to the front door to deliver
  • "Wash" her own hair
  • Clean up messes (like wiping up spills)
  • Likes to look at books-all.the.time.
  • Runs, dances, stomps her feet
She is a pretty unique gal. We will keep her around, I will probably do a post about Benjamin this week, I've been told by many (ok, almost everyone), that she looks like me when I was her age. We ALL know that Benjamin looks just like Chad, so it is almost kind of nice to have someone look a little like me. She has pretty straight hair, except for that one big curl in the back. I absolutely love it!
